Every summer in late July, St. Vincent’s conducts a week of Vacation Bible School. The 
catechesis is themed (materials from Concordia Press) and is constructed so as to provide children with interactive ways to enrich their faith. Programs are Scripture-based, with learning constructed around crafts, games, songs and role-play. The last day of VBS includes a field-trip. When possible, the trip complements the theme of the week’s learning.
Additionally, throughout the week, all of the young participants work together to plan a liturgy. Together they celebrate this Mass on the Sunday which concludes their week of Vacation Bible School.
Kids bring their own lunches, and parents sign up to contribute group snacks on a given day.
